Word has it that the world record points holder in Rugby Union, Neil Jenkins, was once told “If you want to kick anything, go kick a ball!” His headmistress was so frustrated with telling Neil off for fighting in the playground, that the words just blurted out. I guess the rest is history!

At 3560ft (1085m) Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales (& England). Furthermore Snowdonia National Park National Park is the second largest National park in England and Wales, covering some 2,171 square kilometres (838 square miles) of north west Wales.

Welsh is the most spoken Celtic language. According to the census in 1997 at least 20% of the population can speak it.
