I have to say that they weren't for me, tasted like a mix between beer and port which is not a nice combination. Something to note was that the bottle was different still brewed on the same day for the same length of time and same strength but said it was limited to 200 bottles a year. I was under the impression it was called Santichlaus (which seemed appropriate for the time of year it was brewed) not Samichlaus. But given the date of brew and length of time, percentage and description on the bottle (2nd paragraph) I'm pretty sure it was the same beer.
