Domain Name Winner
A couple of weeks ago I entered a competition to Win a Mascot at BloggingTips.com. All I had to do to was add one line of HTML code to a blog post. The winner would be the blog with the highest ranking on Google for the search term: win a mascot at BloggingTips.com.
Well I didn’t win outright, but my blog post did appear on the first page of Google’s search results (it was there when the competition ended anyway). Kevin from BloggingTips.com was “very pleased with the enthusiasm and support from BloggingTips readers throughout this competition“, so he decided to give a free domain name from 815Domains to every blogger who reached the first page of Google for the search term. Nice gesture Kevin!
Now I just have to think of a new domain I would like to own…..

Congrats on winning a domain name. Are you gonna make a new site with it or just redirect it to this blog?

Thinking of a new site/blog. Have a few ideas, but not 100% sure yet.
Decisions, decisions, eh?
Anyone have any ideas for me?
