Yet another tag, or is that a blag?

Yes, it’s happened again. For the second time in a week, I’ve been tagged - this time from fellow BlogCatalog member Anne over at Cooking with Anne. Actually I’m thinking we should start calling these games a “blag”. Just as “blog” is a combination of web and log, “blag” is a combination of “blog” and “tag”. So, if you start seeing this term used frequently in blogging world, you know where you saw it first ok? Maybe I should copyright it…

Anyway, here are the rules and details of the tag:

  • Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
  • People who are tagged need to write posts in their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
  • At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.

1. I’m Welsh (surprise, surprise) and proud of it
2. I’m still trying to pull the perfect Espresso shot
3. I drive a 2007 Pepper White & Black MINI Cooper S and love it
4. I’m a belonephobic: I have an abnormal fear of needles and injections
5. My biggest sporting accomplishment: I finished an Ironman Triathlon in 2004
6. I ran every day in 2006
7. I used to be able to solve the Rubik’s Cube puzzle in 40 seconds
8. I invented the word “blag” :)

Here are the eight people I’m going to tag. Have fun and Happy Blagging!

I just want to put on record that I coined a similar term with a different sense slightly earlier on 13.3.07 at 07:45

Bl@g (n.) A form of truth-fiction, purporting to be an online diary. [C21: from S-London English, blag to obtain by wheedling or cadging] - obviously I only have the English rights not the rights in Welsh…
