2007 Welsh Sports Personality of the Year Candidates Announced
The five candidates for BBC Wales’ Sports Personality of the Year 2007 have been announced.
Boxers Joe Calzaghe and Enzo Maccarinelli, footballer Ryan Giggs, golfer Becky Brewerton and cyclist Geraint Thomas are the famous five.
The prestigious awards ceremony will be hosted by three-time winner Dame Tanni Grey Thompson and BBC Wales Today’s Jason Mohammad.
Alongside the main presentation, the awards ceremony also honors the Team of the Year, Sports Unsung Hero, Junior Sportsman, Junior Sportswoman and a Lifetime Achievement.
