I’ll name that house in Welsh!
Ever wanted to give your house a unique name? Something Welsh perhaps? Now you can, thanks to a cool utility on the BBC Wales - Living in Wales web site. All you have to do is enter up to 3 of your house features, pick where it’s located and choose a color that’s related to where you live (optional). Once you’ve made your selections, the clever Flash utility will suggest numerous house names similar to the following:
Min y Mynydd - The house at the foot of a mountain
Bryn Gwyn - White hill
Awel y Llyn - Breeze of the lake
Bronnydd - Breast of the hill
There’s even an icon you can click that teaches you the pronounciation of your new house name! Good fun and a great learning tool too……what’s yours called?
