Lone Tour de France Welshmen still flying high

Wales Cycling Jersey by Foaska.com - Buy it Now!Geraint Thomas of Cardiff, Wales, at 21 the youngest rider in the Tour de France, kept up his good form in yesterday’s 193 km fourth stage from Villers-Cotterts to Joigny.

He finished one minute and seven seconds behind stage winner Thor Hushovd of Swtzerland and now stands in 47th position overall.

Geraint, who lost his spleen in a bad crash in 2005, was given his Tour de France shot when his UK-based, South African-financed team Barloworld were given a wildcard entry. He is now leading the Barloworld riders.
