St.David’s Day Desktop Daffodil Wallpaper
St.David’s Day - a national day of celebration within Wales - is just around the corner (March 1st), so thought it was a good time to change the desktop wallpaper on my laptop to something Welsh and seasonal. Enter a great macro photograph of wild daffodil sprouts (Narcissus Pseudonarcissus) covered in Northern Norway snow, courtesy of talented photographer Thomas Laupstad.
According to Thomas, the wild daffodils (Narcissus Pseudonarcissus) have been sprouting as early as mid January this year, which is is extremely early for Northern Norway, and is a result of the warmest winter ever recorded in Norway.
Thanks to Thomas for allowing me to use the photo on my desktop and for taking the photo in the first place. I hope he goes back to take more photos when the daffs have bloomed!

Thomas usually visits this site at least once a day. I’m sure he’ll answer your question personally
Thanks for the comment,
