The Sheep Chair: Made In Wales Or Made For Wales?

Filed under: Funny — Steve Speirs @ 7:41 pm

Sheep ChairFound this bizarre sheep chair over at the interesting Freshome blog.

Not sure of the chair’s origins, but I’m sure it would be a huge hit in Wales (might as well say it myself before everyone starts chiming in with the Welsh sheep jokes!)

I honestly can’t imagine anyone buying this item of furniture, but there must be a demand for it somewhere.

If you have any information about the chair, please leave a comment below….

  8. MMMMmmmm…sheepy goodness! Makes me want a big plate of shepherd’s pie.

Hey, THEY’RE SHEEP! It’s their JOB to be killed, eaten and worn. You’re the top of the food chain. Get over it.

  15. That is one bizarre chair. Comfortable perhaps, but way too obvious that you’re sitting on dead creatures. At least, assuming they are real. Even with fake sheep, this would be bizarre. A 3-headed mutant sheep… Baa! Run for your life!

  18. [...] Not sure which is more bizarre – the MINI Cowper or the Sheep Chair? [...]

  19. How strange! I didn’t know there were any pictures of that. It is in the library of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney (http://www.nida.edu.au/). It was built as part of a production of ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’ and I believe (although I never saw the show) it was Oberon’s throne. It is very oddly comfortable although the head looking over your shoulder is a bit… odd.
