Unique Road Sign Roundabout in Cardiff, Wales

Located in Cardiff, Wales and easily identified by the various geometric sculptures made out of traffic signs, is a rather unique roundabout, also known as the “Magic Roundabout”. Not sure who’s idea the sculptures were (there doesn’t seem to be much information online), but they are a real standout for the Welsh Capital City.

These photos are from the great FreeFoto.com web site, but I hope to take a few of my own when I visit Wales in 6 weeks time.

Those are definitely more appealing than some of the sculptures I have seen in NJ! Totally cool! If thre were mini models..they would be great for kids rooms.

Thanks for the comment Hilary. They are pretty cool aren’t they? Leave it to the Welsh to come up with something creative like this…
