Vote Cardiff In The Monopoly Here And Now World Edition!
You may remember last year that Cardiff, the capital of Wales, was chosen as one of the cities for the Monopoly Here And Now UK Edition. This year, Monopoly has gone global and is launching a worldwide vote to find the 22 greatest cities in the world to be included on the new MONOPOLY Here & Now: The World Edition game board.
Cardiff is once again on the short list of cities, but is currently lying in 64th position out of the nominated 68. Voting started on January 22nd and after March 9, 2008 no further votes will be accepted. The final board of the top 22 locations determined from all valid votes cast will be displayed in August 2008. A full list of terms and conditions can be viewed here.
If you don’t find a city you like on the official list, and you don’t want to vote for my city of birth Cardiff, you may nominate your own wildcard city. Voting for the top 20 of the most nominated wildcard cities will commence on February 29, 2008.
