Wales has more castles per square mile than any other country in Western Europe.
Caerphilly Castle, which stands on a 30-acre site, is one of the largest fortresses in the UK and also in Europe. It dominates the town centre of Caerphilly and boasts a tower which ‘out leans’ that of Pisa!

My cousin actually had her wedding reception inside Caerphilly Castle - very cool!
We fly 2 weeks today for our annual trip to the UK….can’t wait.
