Push Ups: The Quest for Strength Week 4
Here we go again - Week 4 of the Push Ups Quest for Strength plan. Luckily there was no test to take this week, so it was straight on with the workout. Before I describe what to do, I must say on paper this week looked quite manageable, and not much different to last week’s program. According to the plan I need to stick to the same column as last week (column 2), so the number of push ups to complete was 22, 16, 16, 14 and at least 22, all with 60 seconds rest. The only ones I had any difficulty with were the final 22 and to be honest I couldn’t have gutted out an extra one if I wanted to.
This is what Week 4 looks like. I’ll be printing off Week’s 5 and 6 to take with me on vacation at the end of the week. By the time I get back I’ll either be repeating Week 6 or in the words of the plan “on my way to do 100 push ups at once”. We’ll see….

Good progress Steve, I’m hoping to make a start again next week. I’m taking it easy this week and will start a bit of strength training next week as the injury I’m carrying gets stronger.

Thanks! At the moment, I can’t imagine doing any more than about 30-35 in one go though…
Take it easy,
