Cardiff City March On To Wembley F.A.Cup Semi-Final
Cardiff City, the only Welsh football team to take the F.A.Cup out of England, impressively disposed of Barclays Premier League Middlesboro to book a semi-final trip to Wembley and give themselves every chance of making it all the way to the final for the first time in 81 years.
Veteran Cardiff striker, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, admitted he could not believe he was heading for Wembley after helping to dump former club Middlesbrough out of the FA Cup. Hasselbaink admitted:
I am going to Wembley and cannot believe it.
I thought it would be a bad result for Chelsea to lose against Barnsley because I thought Middlesbrough would be more focused and determined.

Barnsley! Barnsley!
Was sat watching the Barnsley match and just couldn’t help laughing at how poor Chelsea looked. This should be a great match.
Still dont agree with the semi’s being at wembely though, what do you think?

I agree. In my eyes, only the final should be played at Wem-ber-ley! Kind of takes the glory away from making it to the final.
Cardiff v Barnsley should be a great game - both teams are fairly evenly matched and know each other very well. It could be a game where one silly mistake could make all the difference.
We’ll see I guess…..

This FA Cup is surely a special and unique one.. It is showing us that big clubs like Man Utd and Chelsea can get beaten by “small” clubs. The latter has been very impressive, very good team spirit.
Cardiff, at the moment, seems (to me) to be stronger in this cup.. But we never know what might happen in football since Barnsley also have proved their worth..
