Find The Face: The Threequel

Remember the original Find The Face Illusion and my own fairly successful Find The Face Sequel ? Well, what you see below is Find The Face - The Threequel!

pebbles.jpg

About a week ago, Thomas Laupstad, the highly talented photographer from Northern Norway, posted a great photo on his blog which he generously made available as a FREE download for his readers to use as desktop wallpaper. Thomas takes some of the most stunning photos you’ll wish to find, most of them having some kind of nature theme and all of them taken where he lives in Northern Norway. Be sure to pay his blog a visit and you’ll see what I mean.

Anyway, back to the illusion. As soon as I saw the pebble photo, I got the idea for another Find The Face. With Thomas’ permission, I Photoshopped the image to include a face (actually I used his avatar from the great Blog Social Networking site, BlogCatalog) and it wasn’t long before I’d finished the work of art.

This one shouldn’t be too challenging, especially if you’ve seen his avatar over at BlogCatalog before, but it may stump a few people and provide a bit of light entertainment. As always, comments are welcomed, and a big thank you goes out to Thomas for (a) making the great photo available for FREE download and (b) allowing me to edit it for this illusion.

i stumbleuponed this, is the face in top left, looks like he has a beanie on his head? i ended up getting wrapped up in the other two for a while as well. i enjoyed them a lot, great stuff.

Heh, I’m very familiar with his avatar so it was easy to spot when I looked for it. Had I not looked for it, I wouldn’t have known it was there. You’re getting pretty good at photoshopping the images.

    12. Steve Speirs Says:

Thanks RT. I thought this one was an easy one to spot - there aren’t too many pebbles with a beard :)

this was the easiest one of all for me..

i first saw the coffee bean one in my intro to psych class, it took us literally a half an hour, then all of a sudden, it hit me. i jumped up to the tv screen and was pointing it out to everyone. it was great.

the baked bean man was a lot tougher..

      very nice work!!

    14. Steve Speirs Says:

Thanks for the comment Hannah and congratulations on finding the faces. I hope some of your classmates will become regular readers :)
