1965 Mini World Record Parallel Parking

Last weekend I was browsing through the 2008 Guinness Book of Records and noticed the world record for parallel parking was held by a stunt man driving a 1965 Mini Cooper. Amazingly he managed to park the Mini in a space just 33cm (13″) longer than the car itself!

Curious to find out how he did it, I went online in search of more information and managed to find the following YouTube video (sorry about the Japanese subtitles!):
