2006 Rock’n'Roll Half Marathon almost full
According to the Rock’n'Roll web site there’s only a couple of hundred slots left for the Virginia Beach Half Marathon which takes place on September 3rd, 2006. This will be my 5th Rock’n'Roll in 6 years and it’s always a great race. The race also provides the best quality medal you’ll ever receive at a race - definitely a collectors item. The 2006 medal is pictured above left.
The race starts at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, runs through the scenic Virginia Beach oceanfront and finishes on the boardwalk. Participants are treated to 14 stages along the 13.1-mile course, featuring 20 local bands.
My times for previous years are as follows. I wonder what 2006 will bring?
