FIRST Marathon Training Program: Week 12
Week 12 - September 24th, 2007
Amazing that this is the last week of September already, which means that there’s only 5 weeks to go until the Marine Corps Marathon for your consideration dvd download
. I plan on making a few changes to the Week 12 schedule to accommodate an 8k race on Saturday morning and a 5k race the following day. Hopefully skipping the 15 mile run on Sunday won’t be detrimental to the long term success of my training plan!
Here’s Week 12:
Key Run Workout #1:
10-20 minute warm up
3 x 1600m (400m RI)
10 minute cool down
Key Run Workout #2:
10 miles @ PMP pace (Planned Marathon Pace)
Key Run Workout #3:
Distance: 15 miles @ PMP + (10 sec/mile)
