Hair of the Dog 5k by KaleRunning.com
My latest web site project/logo creation is for for the latest KaleRunning.com race - the Hair of the Dog 5k to be held on New Year’s Day, 2007 at 10:00am. The venue is Mount Trashmore, Virginia Beach.
The race will be held entirely on the paved running trails within the Park. The route will make one small loop around the Mount Trashmore hills and one long loop around the lake. Unusually for Trashmore, the course is flat and fast!
In typical KaleRunning fashion, they’ve added a couple of novel twists to the race to the make it a fun and exciting New Year’s event for the whole family:
FORMALWEAR DIVISION: Compete in your formalwear from the night before and vie for overall male and female awards in this division. [It looks best if you appear to have slept in them].
WEIGHT DIVISION: This is unlike the typical Athena/Clydesdale divisions. Report your weight before the race and your time will be calculated based on seconds per pound. Everyone at every weight has a chance to win in this division. Overall male and
female winners in this category will be awarded prizes, and you will still be eligible for age group and overall awards.
BABY JOGGER’S WELCOMED!!
Fees for the 5k run and walk are just $15.00 if you sign up before December 15th. If you’re too busy holiday shopping and miss the deadline, you can still sign up for $20.00 until race day.

nice work on the logo! i raced it today, and as usual… another well run kalerunning experience! that logo is now all over the place on some cool t-shirts
