Heya Steve, have you tried this stuff before? How’s it treating you in your last few workouts before the race?
Good luck this weekend. I’ll be monitoring via race alerts.

Hey Lici:
Yes, use Race Day Boost for all my marathons (4 last year and 1 so far this year) – it works really well! Endurolytes are another great product that eliminate cramping – I’ll be using these too.
How’s the FISRT plan working out for you? I struggled with some of the speed/tempo workouts, but the long runs were fine. Read more of my training at http://runbulldogrun.blogspot.com
Good luck!

Super! I use Enduralytes, myself. I think I will give this other product a try.
I’m the reverse on FIRST … I’m blasting through the speed and tempo and find it hard to slow down to the pace listed (!) I had a hard time with first 18-miler and the last 20-miler went OK, not fantastic. Doing another this weekend whilst you’re at MCM.

Cool! Good luck on your long run this weekend. I love all the Hammer Nutrition products. I take Sustained Energy as my pre-race breakfast, use a couple of gels during the race, Recoverite afterwards and have just discovered Energy Surge
Which marathon are you doing? How’s the cross training going?
Happy Miles & Happy Motoring!

I love the cross-training. I either bike or swim (biked today — helped to do it indoors because of all the fires here). It’s a welcome break.
I am running California International Marathon — http://www.runcim.org. It should be interesting to see if i can Boston-qualify or not by using FIRST. We’ll see! I need all the help I can get.

Have you ever tried the Feast SuperCharged? Many athletes I know really like the boost and it also has daily required veggies and fruit in the powder from a whole food source. Plus, it tastes good! Because it is food, no danger in reacting to anything else you are taking. Check out my blog on http://hot-wholefoodnutrition.blogspot.com/
