Looking good for Shamrock [Marathon, Half Marathon & 8k]

The addition of a half marathon at this year’s Shamrock Sportfest in Virginia Beach, VA, has assured race directors Jerry and Amy Frostick that they’ll have the largest field in the history of the event.

On a personal note, I’m excited the marathon has switched from a 2 loop affair, to the more challenging new course. With less than 7 weeks to go, training is going well and I’m secretly hoping for another sub-3 hour finish. We shall see….
