New Year’s Eve training run

Well with the last day of 2006 upon us, it was nice to end the year with a great training run. Conditions were pretty much perfect for this time of year - temperatures in the low 40’s and very little wind.

The first couple of miles were at a nice easy pace, but once on the trails at First Landing (which were pretty much deserted at this time of the morning), I picked things up and knocked out a series of fastish 6:30 miles.

The run was fairly uneventful, but I felt good the whole way and finished the workout feeling strong. Full details of the 13 mile run can be found here.

Here’s to a Happy and Safe 2007!
