Nike Air Zoom Moire - the running shoe that talks to your iPod Nano

The new Nike Air Zoom Moire is probably the smartest running shoe to hit the stores. Why? Because the Air Zoom Moire actually talks to your iPod Nano!
Available sometime in July in the USA and UK, the Nike+iPod Sport Kit and the Nike Air Zoom Moire+ shoe are featured on the Nike+ web site. Apple and Nike have been working in tandem on the innovative products for the past 18 months.
The Nike Air Zoom Moire connects to your iPod through the wireless Nike+iPod Sport Kit. This consists of a tiny transmitter which is slipped into the running shoe and sends information back to Apple’s music player with every step of your run.
At the touch of the center button on the runner’s iPod Nano, a voice tells you how you are getting on.
You can also call up a pre-chosen “power song” to play when your energy levels start to flag and you need a motivational boost.
