Running Review: June 19th- June 25th
- Monday: Steady 6 miles.
- Tuesday: 6.4 miles track workout - including 200m/400m/600m/800m with Shannon
4×200m on my own
36.5s/36.5s/36.7s/35.5s - Wednesday: Easy 3.9 miles
- Thursday: Just 2 miles (left knee sore, right shin sore)
- Friday: 1 mile warm up
Women’s Distance Festival 5k (18:25 5:55 pace)
1 mile cool down - Saturday: Steady 4.7 miles
- Sunday: 10 miles (8 @ tempo pace)
- 38 miles for the week
Summary: Another solid week. However, training feels better than racing at the moment. Was expecting greater things at the 5k on Friday night, but it didn’t happen. After a fairly swift first mile in 5:39, I struggled to maintain any kind of pace and ended up running a disappointing 18:25. Back to the drawing board for me…..
