Sweat GUTR - it works!

Sweat GUTROk, so it may look a little geeky, but I have to say my new Sweat GUTR did exactly what it claimed to do! I went out for a 5.5 mile run on Wednesday evening. The temperature was 84° and the humidity about 70% - perfect conditions to put the silicone sweatband to the test. Usually within half a mile of leaving the house, beads of perspiration have started to trickle down my forehead and into my eyes. I can honestly say that when I arrived back at the house after 5.5 fairly quick miles on a humid evening in Virginia Beach, not one drop had made it’s way through the Sweat GUTR. How does it work?

Somehow the front lip of the sweatband captures the sweat and channels it away down the sides of your face. Usually the sweat drips into my eyes and onto my sunglasses, but for once I had no stinging eyes and my glasses stayed clear. It’s comfortable to wear (just choose the appropriate band and adjust the velcro to fit), lightweight (I hardly knew I was wearing it) and you don’t get hot with it on. It didn’t move around at all and remarkably didn’t leave a mark on my forehead when I took it off. [I don’t recommend wearing it in the sun for too long though - if you’re as bald as me, you may get a strange suntan!]

At just $14.99 I think it’s really good value for money. It’s made well and I can see it lasting for a long, long time. Sweat GUTR was also easy to clean - just a quick rinse under the tap, hang up to dry and you’re done. Buy yours online today from the Sweat GUTR shop……(actually, if you do purchase a headband online, please mention you were referred by cymru66.com - thanks!)
