Virginia Beach Rock ‘n’ Roll 1/2 Marathon Virtual Tour

rnr.gifFound a pretty cool virtual tour of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon course taking place in Virginia Beach, VA this coming Sunday. RaceRoute.com develops and produces quality DVDs to help athletes prepare for race events. Their site features virtual tours of many marathons, half-marathons, 10k’s, 5k’s and even triathlons.

All of the RouteTours blend the excitement of fast-paced video, music and motion graphics with intelligent maps, information and more.

Here’s what they have to say about the Rock ‘n’ Roll 1/2 Marathon:

“Fast as it is flat, these 13.1 seaside miles stretch through one of America’s most scenic beach communities. The race starts adjacent to the Virginia Beach Convention Center, runs through the resort area, dashes through Camp Pendleton, rounds 37th Street and finishes on the breathtaking Oceanfront Boardwalk. After the race, you will experience a post-race Finish Line Beach Party on the sand as well as a spectacular headliner concert that evening.”

That’s a pretty handy video. A great way to prepare the runners if they do not know the track.
