Road Sign Typo spotted at Janaf Shopping Center - what’s a “sreed bump” anyway?

SLOW SREED BUMPI’ve noticed this painted road sign before, but always thought it was my mind playing tricks on me. I saw it again this morning and couldn’t resist taking a quick pic before someone realizes the mistakes and fixes it. The sign is at Janaf Shopping Center in Norfolk, VA, in between the soon to be closed Circuit City and Old Navy stores.

Anyone else have funny road signs they’d like to share?

hehe… that’s funny alright, but also a bit risky??? Drivers ought to concentrate on driving rather than wondering what’s “SREED”??? lol

Also, don’t you think it’s in the wrong order? I mean, when one’s driving, he’she reads the words first last….

      SLOW
      SPEED
      BUMP

will be read in the natural order while driving, which makes sense informing the driver, “Slow down, speed bump ahead.”

But in the pic, the driver reads

      BUMP (first)
      SPEED (next)
      SLOW (last)

He reads the SLOW last of all …. or he might start ’speeding’ before reading he has to slow down
