Week 5 of the FREE CSS Course has just been posted on the Westciv web standards software and learning web site.
Week 4 is also still available if you’re struggling to keep up as I was last week.

- The color keywords
- Hexadecimal color values
- The background-color property

Ooohhh..I didn’t know about this course online. I’ve read and studied the CSS and Webdesign for dummies book but there’s still lots for me to learn. Thanks for pointing this out!

Level 1 is quite basic, but it’s a great tutorial and you can’t beat the price

Week 5 should be a very interesting week. I enjoyed playing with background properties and color values.
It seems like you’re getting into the good stuff now. Just a heads up. Selectors and specificity complicate things a bit.
