My latest web site goes live
Today’s the day my latest web site creation goes live. Been working on the redesign project for a month or so and it’s my first real attempt at a standards compliant, CSS based site (CSS as opposed to HTML table based).
The site was built for the 5th annual Virginia Duathlon in Virginia Beach, Virginia and can be found here: Virginia Duathlon
The event is now owned by a local race management and timing company Kale Running and is sure to be another huge success. Kale are the only company in Virginia who use ChampionChip technology to time races. ChampionChip is commonly regarded as the world’s leading timing technology for active sports events.
For anyone wondering what a duathlon is, it’s an event that starts with a run, is followed by a bike ride and finishes with another run. For this event, the distances are 5k run, 32k bike, 5k run - well within the capabilities of anyone in fair physical condition who’s willing to put in some solid bike and run training. [Note: always check with your doctor before you embark on any new physical activity.]
