WordPress developers love Jazz
Just stumbled across this piece of [useless] information. All WordPress major releases are named in honor of jazz musicians that WP developers personally admire. Here’s a list of releases and the musicians they were named after:
1.0 Miles Davis
1.2 Charles Mingus
1.5 Billy Strayhorn
2.0 Duke Ellington
The three releases before 1.0 weren’t names for some reason.
